Author Profile

Dr. Janak Raj Jai was born on 23rd August, 1931 in Village Ramdas (Distt. Amritsar) Punjab. He passed his matriculation examination in 1947 from Baba Buddha Khalsa High School, Ramdas (Amritsar). A graduate from Punjab University, he had his Master’s degree from University of Delhi. He did his LL.B from University of Delhi and Master of Laws from Nagpur University. He has done his Doctor of Philosophy in Law, from University of Delhi. </br> He had been a law teacher in University of Delhi for about ten years. He had been a visiting professor in Amity University and Indian Law Institute. He is now an Advocate of long standing and presently practicing in the Supreme Court of India, and the High Court of Delhi. He has authored about 40 books on socio legal problems.

After the nine judges bench of the Supreme Court has over-ruled ADM Jabalpur Judgment upholding the minority judgment of Justice H.R.
