Dr. Ashwani Kumar, MVSc, PhD, FIAVPHS is Professor, Veterinary Public Health at College of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture, Addis Ababa University, Bishoftu, Ethiopia. He has earlier worked as Professor at College of Veterinary Medicine, Mekelle University, Mekelle, Ethiopia and as Professor and Head of Department of Veterinary Public Health, College of Veterinary Sciences, LUVAS, Hisar, India. Dr Niraj Kumar is Associate Professor in Animal Production Team in College of Veterinary Medicine, Mekelle University, Mekelle since 2010. He has worked as Veterinary Doctor in quarantine sector for six years in several Middle East and African countries. Dr. Etsay Kebede Assefa is former Department Head of Livestock Resources and Fishery and Regional Veterinary Laboratory in Tigray Bureau of Agriculture and Natural Resource; Department Head of Pathobiology and Infectious Diseases and Veterinary Medicine and Team Leader in Training and Education in Center of Extension and Consultancy in College of Veterinary Medicine, Mekelle University, Ethiopia. Dr. S. R. Garg, M.V.Sc., Ph.D., FIAVPHS is Professor in the Department of Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology and Director of Extension Education in the Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar (India). He has 35 years experience of teaching, research and extension education in the field of Veterinary Sciences. He has published 10 books from various internationally acclaimed publishing houses.

About The Book

This book deals with all major aspects including establishment of a new fish farm, its management, good practices, and ideal conditions for optimum production of fish.
