Dr. Shashank S. Sonwane is Assistant Professor in Department of Library and Information Science, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad (Maharashtra) India. Visiting Scientist in Documentation Research and Training Centre, Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore. He has contributed 155 research articles in International and National conferences. He has 12 books on his credit. He is recipient of Shikshak Pratibha-2010; Ravi Painter Ranjangoankar Gold Medal and Anant Narayan Gore Award for Scoring first in BLISc. His areas of specialization are Scientometrics, Information Technology, and Knowledge Management.
