Tandel, M.Com, M.L.I.Sc., M.Phil (Library Science), Ph.D (Library Science) SET is currently working as Assistant Librarian, (Assistant Professor equivalent), Vanbandhu College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry and I/c University Librarian, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari. He completed his B.L.I.Sc. with first rank from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, Gujarat, He completed his M.L.I.Sc. with first rank from Saurashtra University, Rajkot, Gujarat and obtained his M.Phil (Library Science) with first rank and Ph.D (Library Science) from S.P. University, Vallabh Vidhyanagar, Gujarat. He has obtained M.Com. from Garda College, Navsari, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, Gujarat.
Dr. Tandel has 15 years of experience in Library and Information Science and presented many papers in seminars/conferences. He has participated in several workshops and training programmes too. He has also organized State Level seminar and National Level workshop. His areas of interest are library Automation, Library Networking, Information System and Service, Library Management, Library Classification, Digital Library and Collection Building of e-Resources in Libraries.
