Dr. (Mrs.) Asha Sinha is Professor in the Department of Mycology and Plant Pathology, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. Prof. Sinha has obtained her Master’s degree in the subject of Botany and therefore her Doctoral degree in 1979 from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. She joined the Department of Mycology and Plant Pathology, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, B.H.U. as Lecturer in 1981. Apart from teaching, Prof. Sinha has been engaged with independent research and guiding students for M.Sc. and Doctoral degree programmes. <BR> Dr. Seweta Srivastava is currently working as Post Doctoral Fellow in the U.P. Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, in Plant pathology in 2009. She also qualified ICAR-NET in Plant Pathology and Crop Protection. <BR> Dr. Ravindra Kumar is currently working as Scientist at Indian Agriculture Research Institute Regional Station, Karnal-132 001 (Haryana). He obtained his M.Sc. (Ag.) and Ph.D (Ag.) from Department of Mycology and Plant Pathology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi during 2007 and 2010 respectively. He was selected as ARS-2009 batch. His areas of research interest are Mycology, Biological Control of Phytopathogens, Fungal Pathology, Plant Microbe Interaction, Fungal Decomposition and Seed Pathology.
