Dr. Sandip P. Nikam holds bachelor’s degree in Agril. Engg. and masters degree in Soil and Water Conservation Engg. from Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri. Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur awarded him Ph.D. degree with Gold Medal. Presently, he is working as an Assistant Professor at College of Agriculture, Dhule. He has 20 years of experience in NRM and teaching.
Prof. Atul B. Deshmukh holds a bachelor degree in Bachelor of Arts (English) and Masters degree in Library and Information Science from Savitribai Phule University of Pune, Pune. Earlier in 2008-09, he was working in National Chemical Laboratory and in July 2009 he is joined as a Librarian at College of Agriculture, Dhule. He has presented 7 research papers in National and International Conference. Presently, he is working as a Librarian at College of Agriculture, Pune. He has 8 years of experience in Library Science field and teaching.
Dr. Ulhas Shantaram Surve is presently working as Associate Professor of Agronomy, Department of Agronomy, Post Graduate Institute, Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Dist. Ahmednagar (MS). He has published 21 research papers, 11 technical papers and 35 popular papers. He has published three practical manuals of M.Sc. and Ph.D. courses in Agronomy and two books. He has given four recommendations on micro-irrigation and fertigation.
About The Book
This book is intended to serve as a textbook for everyone interested in Disaster Management. It offers first-hand information regarding the disaster and its management. It covers most of the aspects related to the preparedness of the community as they are the first responders of the disaster. The book includes what, when, how and by whom what should be done before and after disaster. Mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery of the disaster are covered sequentially.
