Shahid Ahmad Ph.D. born on July 1, 1972 in a village Gaharauli, The. Maudaha, Distt. Hamirpur, U.P. Dr. Ahmad completed his B.Sc (Ag.) from N.D.U.A.T. Kumarganj, Faizabad in 1994; M.Sc (Ag.) Plant Pathology form C.S. Azad University of Agri. And Technology, Kanpur U.P. in 1996 and Ph.D. (Botany) form CSJM University Kanpur, UP in 2003. He worked as Research Associate with Prof. A.K. Sarbhoy for three years (1997-2000) in the Division of Plant Pathology, I.A.R.I. Pusa, New Delhi. He was appointed as Jr. Scientist (Plant Pathology) in 2001 in the SKUAST-Jammu at Regional Agril. Research Station, Rajouri, J &K During short tenure of ten years, he has published more than 80 publications in his credit. He has published more than 30 research papers in the journals of national and international repute, 20 popular articles in different magazines, 10 book chapters, 1 review/conceptual articles, 7 bulletins, 10 research abstracts and one book. Recently he has been conferred with SPPS Fellow-2005 by the Society of Plant Protection Sciences, Division of Nematology, IARI, New Delhi. Presently he is working as I/c Associate Director Research, RAPS, & I/c Programme Coordinator, KVK, SKUAST-J, Rajouri.

About The Book
