Author Profile

Dr. Pratibha Arya obtained her B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from Kumaun University, Nainital. Her research interests include aquatic hyphomycetes, their bioactivities, and ecological aspects. She has contributed numerous articles to national and international conferences and seminars, and has published papers in reputed national and international journals. Dr. Arya is a life member of the Indian Phytopathological Society, India. In 2008, she was awarded the Young Scientist Award in Botany by the Uttarakhand State Science and Technology Congress (UCOST), Dehradun. Among her notable achievements is the discovery of a new species, Tetracladium nainitalense Sati & Arya, recognized in Plant Discoveries 2009, published by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India. She has also discovered a new species to India, Tetracladium breve Arya & Sati. With over 14 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Pratibha Arya is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at Government Degree College, Talwari, Chamoli, affiliated with Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University. In addition to her academic role, she holds several important academic and administrative positions at the college. Dr. Nisha Dhoundiyal holds a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Zoology from Kumaun University, Nainital, Uttarakhand. She has published more than ten research papers in esteemed national and international journals. With over five years of teaching experience, she has served as an Assistant Professor in both private and government degree colleges. Currently, Dr. Dhoundiyal is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology at Government Degree College, Talwari–Tharali (Chamoli), affiliated with Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University. In addition to her teaching and research work, she has contributed to various academic projects, including reviewing numerous book chapters and journal articles. Mr. Rajneesh Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttarakhand. He currently serves as the In-charge of the Department of Economics at Government Degree College, Talwari, Chamoli, which is affiliated with Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University. He completed his Master's degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, and his undergraduate studies at Hansraj College, University of Delhi, New Delhi. He qualified the UGC NET-JRF in Economics in 2020. His areas of specialization include Development Economics, Statistics, and Rural Economics.
