About The Book

Prof. K. P. Singh was born in 1968 in Uttar Pradesh, India. He obtained his graduate, post graduate and Ph.D. degrees from Aligarh Muslim University, working in the field of Biomembranes towards interdisciplinary study on ion-transport. Having an experience of postdoctoral research in the field of nanobiosensor, nanobiotechnology and nanomedicine. Dr. Singh served as Professor at G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. He has held many key positions like Director of Uttarakhand Council for Biotechnology from 2014 to 2016; President of Nano and Molecular Society of India in 2017, Associate Editor in Chief of one of the reputed journal “Analytical Chemistry Letters” of Taylor and Francis and Director of G.B. Pant- Cranfield Research Centre at Pantnagar. He worked as the Vice-Chancellor of one of the top ranked Agriculture University of India, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar and a founder Vice-Chancellor of Maharana Pratap Horticultural University, Karnal (Haryana). He is currently working as Professor Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and the Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.
