Author Profile
Prof. Arun Arya, worked as Head, Department of Botany and Environmental Studies in The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara INDIA. He is a Botanist, Phytopathologist, Expert on Biodiversity and Environment, Philatelist and a Popular Science writer. He retired from active services in 2018. He is Vice President of International Council for Biodeterioration of Cultural Property (ICBCP), and Joint Secretary of Society for Clean Environment (SOCLEEN), Vadodara. His work on deterioration of Egyptian Mummy brought him to International scenario. He served as honorary President of Indian Association for Air Pollution Control, he is Fellow of Indian Botanical Society, Indian Phytopathological Society and Fellow of Gujarat Science Academy.
Dr. Virendra Nath is President of International Council for Biodeterioration of Cultural Property (ICBCP), he was Former Chief Scientist (Sci. 'G'), CSIR-Emeritus Scientist. He served as Head Bryology group at National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow. Trained under the able guidance of world renowned Prof. Ram Udar, F.N.A. he is providing his expertise in the field of Bryology for the last 45 years. His expertise includes Taxonomy (Monographic and Floristics), Palynological, Conservation and Bioprospection studies on Bryophytes. He has discovered 14 new species to the Science and 15 new records for India.
Prof. (Dr.) Mandana Barkeshli is a Conservation Scientist, associated with National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology, New Delhi, India. She is currently Head of Research and Post Graduate school of De Institute of Creative Arts and Design, at University College Sedaya International (UCSI), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She is also Visiting Professor and Principal Fellow in Faculty of Arts of the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Dr. Abduraheem K. is serving as Senior Professor and Chairman, Dept. of Museology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligharh, U.P. He is Secretary and Ex- Vice President, Indian National Committee for International Council of Museums (ICOM-Paris), General Secretary, International Council for the Biodeterioration of Cultural Property. His areas of specialization are Museology, Conservation and Preservation, Museum Architecture, Control of Biodeterioration, Museum Research, Documentation etc. Awardee of ECONS National Educational Summit, New Delhi, Member of Oxford Round Table Conference, London. Fellow of Indian Social Science Congress. He is a recipient of ARE Egyptian scholarship.
About The Book
Recent corona like pandemic outbreaks have warned the human beings that we are still a fragile species on this Planet Earth. We have to ponder in our past, look how Vedic, Harrapan, and Egyptian civilizations flourished and vanished ultimately.
