Author Profile

Donald E. H. Frear was professor of Agriculture and Biological Chemistry. He obtained Ph.D. Degree from Pennsylvania state University. He was Pioneer in chemical pesticides research. His work focused on the chemistry of insecticides, fungicides and herbicides, plant nutrition and chemistry and relation of chemical structure to biological properties. He was serving as Director of the pesticides research laboratory and Graduate Study Center. He wrote 32 books and over 135 articles in the field of chemical pesticides.

Part I deals synthetic organic insecticides, Part II have been dedicated to the information regarding natural organic insecticides, Part III Inorganic Insecticides, Part IV Fungicides, Part V Herbicides, Part VI Adjuvants and Part VII Rodenticides. Pesticides are chemical that kill pests and are categorized by the types of pests they kill.
