Professor Deepa Vinay is working as Head, Department of Family Resource Management at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. She has been known for her indomitable specialization in the Ergonomic of Farm women's drudgery and incessant endeavors in promoting their means like encouragement to form Self Help Groups and by developing the entrepreneurial skills in them, efforts which are already yielding scintillating results and will go a long way in the multi-faceted development of rural women of Uttarakhand. A dedicated Teacher, an erudite research scholar and a very efficacious extension worker. She is consultant to government and non-government organizations. Risk assessment has been a standard phrase in Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Management over the last couple of decades, although many people have heard it but not so many know what it really means. <BR> An International conference was hosted by Department of Family Resource Management, College of Home Science, G. B.
