Prof. Arun Arya, Ex- Head, Department of Botany and Environmental Studies in The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. He is a Botanist, Phytopathologist, Philatelist and a popular Science writer. Serving as hon. President of IAAPC, he is Fellow of I B S, I P S and IAAPC. He has actively served as Head of the Department of Botany during 2008 – 2013. Prof. Vinod S. Patel , B.E.( Civil) M.S. (USA), MIE, ASCE, FIWWA, FIAAPC, PE (MASS.) is Consulting Engineer and Environmental expert has been working in this field for the past 40 years. He has made significant contribution in the field of radial well and ground water supply management. Visiting Prof. in the Faculty of Tech. and Engg., The Maharaja sayajirao University of Baroda. He has contributed in the field of air and soil pollution and global climatic change and has published 50 technical papers and 4 books on pollution and their management issues. Prof. Madhoolika Agrawal, FNA, FNASc, FNAAS is Professor of Botany and presently the Coordinator, Inter-disciplinary School of Life Sciences at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. She has worked on various projects with MoEn. , UGC, DST, CSIR, DIFD, U.K., Research council of Norway, SEI, U.K and Asia Pacific Network, Singapore. Dr. Agrawal has published about 258 research papers. Prof. C. N. Murthy, M.Tech. Ph.D. is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai where he obtained his M.Sc. (Chemistry), M. Tech. (Materials Science) and Ph.D. degrees. He has about three years’ industrial experience with a multinational company, M/s Johnson & Johnson, and 23 years of teaching & research experience. He was the Head of the Applied Chemistry Department (2004-2010) at Faculty of Technology & Engineering, The M.S. University of Baroda. He has about 50 publications in peer reviewed journals of international repute. Prof. Bindu Bhatt , M.Sc. (Geography) Ph.D. is currently Head of the Dept. of Geography. She has 21 years of teaching & research experience. Appointed as Hon. Secretary (2000-2006) and joint coordinator of Env. Science in the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda till 2012. She is visiting faculty of Env. Science and P.G. Diploma in Disaster Management, and master of Urban and regional Planning ( Fac. of Engg. And technology). She has published 35 research paper in journals of repute. Dr. Geeta Padate is Professor in Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science, The M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara. She is an expert in Bird studies. She Headed the Department for more than 4 years. She has been involved in organizing various mass awareness programme related to environment, birds and wildlife. She has published 61 research papers in journals of National and International reputes. 13 students have completed their Ph.D. under her guidance while 4 are working for the same.
