Insects and Fruits are ubiquitous. Wherever there is vegetation there are fruits as well as insects. In the world tropical, subtropical or temperate, there will always be one or the other fruit tree growing in that area. Similarly, the insect will also be present feeding on different parts of those trees, causing slight to severe damage. The losses resulting from such damage may be both qualitative and quantitative. A good percentage of this loss can be easily avoided by adopting proper and timely pest management methods. The aim of this book is to provide in detail the available information on various aspects of insect pests damaging fruits which has hit hereto remained scattered in various journals and technical reports and is not easily available for the interest of workers, scholars and progressive cultivars.
