He obtained Ph.D [ Entomology] degree in 2006 from IARI, New Delhi and awarded Dr. Pradhan Gold Medal in PhD programme. <BR> Dr. A. Sujatha is at present working as Associate Dean, at Horticultural College and Research Institute , Dr YSR Horticultural University, Venkatramannagudem, West Godavari Dist., Andhra Pradesh. <BR> Dr. T.S.K.K. Kiran Patro is currently working as Technical Officer to Dean of Horticulture, Dr Y.S.R. Horticultural University, Venkatramannagudem , West Godavari Dist., Andhra Pradesh. She acquired Ph.D [Horticulture] in 2007 from ANGRAU. <BR> Dr.M.Lakshminarayana Reddy, is currently holding the post of Dean PG Studies , Dr.YSR Horticultural University, Venkataramannagudem. He was awarded Ph.D. in Horticulture by UAS, Bangalore in 1993. Received Crop Research Award for the year 1997 by Gourav society of Agricultural Research Information Center, Hissar. <BR> Dr. B.Srinivasulu, Registrar , Dr.Y.S.R. Horticultural University, Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. He received his Ph.D. (Ag.) Plant Pathology in 1991 from TNAU, Coimbatore . <BR> Dr.T.S.S.K.Patro is presently working as Senior scientist and Head, ARS Vizianagaram, ANGRAU AP. He obtained his M.Sc (Ag) and PhD degree in Plant Pathology from IARI, New Delhi with 5 Gold medals.

About The Book

The book entitled “Text Book on - Integrated Pest Management of Horticultural Crops”, is thoroughly written as a text for undergraduate level courses in insect pest management . In part one of the book there are 11 chapters which present precise and reasonable comprehensive review of concepts and components of Integrated Pest Management, thus making the text an excellent coverage of the tactics and strategies used in integrated pest management (IPM). The Part Two contains 20 chapters that deal with IPM of major economic horticultural crops in India , each presenting applicable summaries of identification, nature of damage, symptoms and updated IPM measures . Colour pictures, tables, and illustrations are helpful supplements to the written text.
