Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh is presently working as Assistant Professor (Animal Nutrition), Bihar Veterinary College, Patna, under Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, India. He served as Junior Scientist (Animal Nutrition) at Sheep Research Station, SKUAST (K), Srinagar, J&K for 5 years. He is having twelve years of experience in teaching, research and extension in the field of Animal Nutrition. His research interests are balanced and economical feeding, unconventional feeds, feed additives & supplements. He has completed 8 research projects as PI/Co-PI. He is the author of 3 books, 50 research papers, 35 popular articles, 5 laboratory manuals, 9 book chapters and 7 lead papers. Dr. Singh is the editorial board member in 11 journals of national and international repute. He has been life member of many professional/scientific societies and is the executive member of Animal Nutrition Association of India. He is the recipient of junior and senior research fellowship of ICAR, New Delhi. His profile is indexed in 2010 edition of Marquis Who‘s who in the World. He has obtained his M.V.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Animal Nutrition from Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar. He was awarded with university silver medal in B.V.Sc. & A.H. His field of specialization is ruminant nutrition and rumen microbiology. During his professional carrier he has been involved in teaching, guiding research students, research and extension works. He has more than 20 research papers and 40 technical articles in his credits. <BR> Dr. Sanjay Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Animal Nutrition at Bihar Veterinary College, Patna. He obtained <BR> M.V.Sc. and Ph.D. in Animal Nutrition from National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal. He is having six years of experience in teaching, research and extension in the field of Animal Nutrition. His area of expertise includes: ruminant nutrition, protected nutrients, complete feed block. As PI/Co-PI, he has completed more than 10 research projects. He is the author of 12 research papers, 15 popular articles, 3 laboratory manuals and book chapters including lead papers. He is recipient of institutional fellowship during M.V.Sc. and Ph.D programme at NDRI, Karnal. He is the life member of more than eight scientific societies and executive member of Animal Nutrition Association and Indian Society for Sheep and Goat Production and Utilization. <BR> Dr. Kaushalendra Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Animal Nutrition at Bihar Veterinary College, Patna. About The Book

This book on Feed Supplements for Livestock and Poultry deals with the basic principles, technology and application of feed supplements for livestock and poultry in a systematic and comprehensive manner.
