Dr. Ganapathi Z. Shinde, University Deputy Librarian working in Gulbarga University Library with a rich working experience of 28 years and high profiled with academic and research qualification possessing M.A., LL.B., M.L.I.SC., M. Phil (Gold Medal) and Ph.D. His book on Information sources in Social Science has received Karnataka Rajyostava Award (2012). He has published more than 55 research papers at national and international level. He has successfully completed a major research project sanctioned by University Grants Commission. He is the President of Karnataka State SC/ST Library Professionals Association and a dynamic professional actively involved in professional activities in conducting conferences and organizing professional developmental activities and striving for protecting the interest of the library community. He travelled widely on various academic assignments to ESSR University, Cesme, Izmir, Turkey, (2005), University of Greece, 2005, COE-JEPA, Osaka, Japan, (Dec. 2005), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (2006), Malaya University, Malaysia (2006), National University, Cairo, Egypt, (2009), National Library, Thailand and University of East London (2013). <BR> Dr. Mallikarjun Angadi is presently working as Deputy Librarian at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. He is also serving as full time faculty at Centre for Library and Information Management Studies, TISS since 2010. He graduated MLIS from University of Gulbarga, Gulbarga with Gold Medal in 2007 and awarded Ph.D in 2008 from the same university. He is the recipient of SIS-Razaida Memorial Young Information Scientist Award (2008). His areas of specialization are: Web Designing, Digital Library Applications, Web Authoring, Network Based Information Services, Scientometrics, etc. He has published 45 research papers in the conferences/seminars and national & international journals and has 4 edited books. Awarded USA-IVLP Fellowship 2007 and visited USA for one month 2007. He is also the recipient of Commonwealth Professional Fellowship in 2013 from Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, London, UK and worked at University of East London (UEL), London, UK. <BR> Dr. Suresh Jange, University Deputy Librarian, working in Virtual Learning Resource Centre & Digital Library, Gulbarga University, Karnataka, has seventeen years of professional experience. He was awarded Gold Medals in B.L.I.Sc and M.L.I.Sc, and passed the UGC-NET exam. He served earlier at ETDC (Dept. of Electronics), Hyderabad, and Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Published 90 research papers in Indian and foreign journals, festschrift volumes, and conferences and three books to his credit. He is the recipient of IFLA-ALP fellowship (2007) and Commonwealth Professional Fellowship (2013).
