Dr. V.B. Sakhare is Head, Post Graduate Department of Zoology, Yogeshwari Mahavidyalaya, Ambajogai. He has 15 years’ experience as an outstanding teacher and researcher. Dr. Sakhare has been editing an international journal ‘Ecology and Fisheries’ (ISSN 0974-6323).Dr.Sakhare has authored/edited few books such as ‘Fish and Fisheries of Indian Reservoirs’,‘Applied Fisheries’, ‘Reservoir Fisheries and Limnology’, ‘Reservoir Fisheries and Ecology: A Literary Survey’, ‘Methodology for Water Analysis’, ‘Aquatic Ecology’, ‘Aquatic Biology and Aquaculture’, ‘Inland Fisheries’, ‘ Applied Ecology’, ‘Perspectives in Ecology’, and ‘Advances in Aquatic Ecology (Vol. I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII,VIII).
Dr. B. Vasanthkumar is presently working as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Zoology at Government Degree Arts and Science College,Karwar, Karnataka. He has also published 12 text books for under graduate students of Karnataka University, Dharwad. He is co-author of reference books like ‘Aquatic Ecosystem and its Management’, ‘Applied Ecology’, ‘Advances in Aquatic Ecology (Volume 7 and 8)’ and ‘Emerging Trends in Fisheries and Aquaculture’.
Dr. J.S. Mohite is Principal of Yeshwantrao Chavan Mahavidyalaya, Tuljapur (Maharashtra).He received his Ph.D. from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.His research work is related to limnology and fisheries and has published several research papers in various national and international journals of repute. Dr.Mohite has worked as University Senate Member and Joint Secretary of Marathwada Principals’ Association.
About The Book
The present book is compendium of recent original research in the field of aquatic ecology. It is an assemblage of up-to-date information of rapid advances and developments taking place in the field of aquatic ecology.
