Dr. Arvind Kumar is the most senior faculty member of Post Graduate Department of Zoology, S.K.M. University, Dumka, Jharkhand and has 37 years experience as an outstanding teacher and researcher. He was also Pro-Vice Chancellor of Sido Kanhu Murma University, Dumka, Vice-Chancellor of Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh (Jharkhand) and Vice-Chancellor, Magadh University, Bodh-Gaya (Bihar). Dr. Kumar is recipient of several awards and medals including Prof. W.A. Nizami Gold Medal by the Zoological Society of India, Dr. S.Z. Qasim Gold Medal by Bioved Research and Communication Centre, Allahabad. <BR> Dr. I. Sundar, MA (Dev. St.), MA (Eco.), Ph.D., MA (Soc.) is working as Associate Professor (Economics) in Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu. He has published more than 80 research papers in International and National Journals of repute. Besides this he has participated/delivered lectures at various National and International conferences/symposium etc.

About The Book

The present book “Fundamentals of Environmental Economics” is an accessible and up-to-date text covering all essential aspects of Environmental Economics. In this book, the readers can realize that, the environmental issues are viewed from an economic perspective, and therefore economic solutions to environmental protection are amply incorporated.
