K. Muraleedharan specialized in Veterinary Parasitology, served as teacher and research scientist of University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore in the cadre of Associate Professor and Professor. Associated with the functioning of PL-480 Research Project, two ICAR Research Schemes, UAS-KDDC Diagnostic Laboratories, establishment of Parasitology Department at Bidar Veterinary College and at Konehalli Research Station. Published more than 100 research papers and received many gold medals and awards for technical capabilities and outstanding contributions. A persistent and prolific writer interested in publishing and meticulous research observations. <BR> M.S.Jagannath is a distinguished Veterinary Parasitologist, teacher, researcher and an able administrator. He had advanced training from London School of Hygiene and University of Edinburgh, UK. His career spanning over 41 years held various positions including as Founder Director of Centre of Advanced Studies at the Veterinary College, Bangalore, India and Prof. of Medical Parasitology, University of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He has published 250 research papers and findings are cited in 40 text books. <BR> Placid Eugene D’Souza has put in 33 years of service as a teacher and researcher in Veterinary Parasitology. He has guided 19 M.V.Sc. and 5 Ph.D students, involved in conducting 30 training programmes for teachers/scientists/veterinary officers since 1996. Course Director for 11, twenty one days ICAR National training programmes for faculty. He is the recipient of two fellowships, two gold medals and seven National and State awards. He has significantly contributed to the study of helminth, protozoan and arthropod parasites as evidenced by 39 research projects, 142 research papers and 96 presentations to his credit.
