Author Profile

Dr. Shashikanth H. Majagi, presently working as Assistant Professor (Applied Zoology), Kuvempu University, Shankarghatta, Karnataka. He has completed his post graduation in 2001 with III rank and awarded his Doctoral degree in the year 2005 from Gulbarga University, Gulbarga. He has to his credit two years of Post Graduate teaching experience at Department of Applied Zoology, Kuvempu University, Shankarghatta. He has a rich research experience, and has published four International and nine National research papers in journals of repute. He has authored one Book. He has Reviewed Research Papers of International acclaim Journals like Environment, Monitoring and Assessment–Springerlink. He has guided 6 students for degree of Master of Science in Applied Zoology. He has organized UGC sponsored one National level Conference at GFGC Chikkballapur. Recently he has completed Research Project sanctioned by University Grants Commission, on the topic “Status of Wetlands of Chikkaballapur”.
