About The Book
Pulses, a group of leguminous crops belonging to the Fabaceae family of the plants are attacked by many fungi, viruses, bacteria and nematodes causing different diseases resulting in substantial yield losses. This book includes 21 chapters on diseases like wilts, yellow mosaic, sterility mosaic, leaf curl, common mosaic and the diseases caused by Rhizoctonia, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum and Sclerotium rolfsii and their management. This book shall not only prove to be a valuable reference point but would also be highly useful to the different stakeholders in mitigating yield losses due to diseases in pulse crops and leading to increase in production and farmers' income.
